MEWP OPERATOR ELEARNING IPAF’s eLearning for MEWP operators is available for all MEWP categories (1a, 1b, 3a, 3b) and takes around three hours to complete. The eLearning is broken down into manageable sections that you can complete at your own pace and can save and resume your training at any time. IPAF MEWP Operator eLearning training course is available in English,. How to start your eLearning training course: 1. Book your online E-learning course now. 2. You will be sent an email to begin your eLearning training; 3.At the end of your E-Learning course you will need to complete the Online Thoery Exam. 4. Once you have passed your theory test, contact us practical training and assessment. MEWP operator eLearning does not replace practical training. Trainees who complete the online training course must still pass a supervised practical test within 90 days, at an IPAF-approved training centre and must successfully complete a minimum half-day of practical training and testing before qualifying for and being issued with a PAL Card as proof of success operator training. This course is for MEWP operators seeking to earn a globally recognised IPAF certification in Scissor Lift (3a) and Telescopic Boom (3b) machines. The course is suited for operators who would like to be qualified at the international standard. IPAF MEWP operators are required to hold a PAL Card as proof that they have been trained to the highest standard. This training will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to prepare and safely operate a Scissor Lift and Telescopic Boom as outlined in Health & Safety Legislation. A Scissor Lift is used to lift one or multiple workers vertically up and down to high areas and a Telescopic Boom is used to lift workers to areas that are inaccessible by a lift itself. Trainees will avail of classroom-based or online eLearning and then complete a practical course in Select Safety's state of the art IPAF accredited Training Centre in Dublin with our IPAF accredited instructors or Training can be completed on customers premises or site when sufficient machines and specifications are available. (IPAF training is provided third party through an IPAF Approved training centre)
