This certified Manual Handling course is given in accordance with the guidelines of the Safety Health and Welfare Act, Manual Handling of loads regulations (General Applications) 2007 which covers the anatomy, the spinal column, related spinal injuries, risk assessment, correct manual handling techniques and the importance of good posture and fitness levels. Assessment Course Theory Assessment: The course theory assessment is the final module of the course and contains 20 questions. A pass rate of 60% is required. You can repeat the assessment as many times you need to if you don't succeed the first time round. Course Practical Assessment: On successful completion of the theory section of the course, you will receive an email that provides a link to your provisional certificate. This Cwertificate is only valid for the E-Learning Manual Handling Training. To optain the Full Manual Handling Certificate you must complete the lift assessment. This can be completed by uploading a pratical assesment video ( No charges) or you can book in for in-perosn or Zoom assesment for an additional cost. The Manual Handling Lift Assessment takes place every Monday and Wednesday and Friday from 8.00 PM on Zoom or can be done anytime if you upload you own video. You are required to have a light object present for your assessment.
